Yup, our Expedition has come to a standstill.
(Click to view the video) This was the second time we got stuck on the ride. First time was on the "Yeti tearing out the bridge" pause after the backwards section, which lasted at least 5-10 minutes. We advanced forward once, then got stuck here again for even longer. With nothing else to do, I took random detail shots I'd probably never be able to get again. They'd call over the loudspeakers "Please remain seated, the ride will begin moving shortly." Then it never would. Repeat every couple of minutes over at least 10 minutes. One thing that's interesting is that if you look close enough and the interior lights are on, I realized that these cave walls are actually slightly transparent. I guess concrete would have been way too heavy for the interior rock work. Pic of me just to prove that it actually happened. Then the loudspeaker announcement changed to "please remain seated, an attendant will be up to assist you shortly."
WIN! This means we get to do a walk down inside the mountain! "Put your camera away if you would, please."

So the interior of the mountain is actually much bigger and more spacious than I thought it would be. Given how much track and show rooms the ride has I figured it would have been pretty tightly packed in there, but it's really more of a big industrial warehouse with several curvy grey tubes snaking overhead through the middle of it. No photos from the inside, however you can see a video that someone sneaked from a similar incident HERE. Finally off the ride, here's the picture of me taken after we got stuck on the first block, but before the second.
