Disney's Animal Kingdom - Photo Journal
Lake Buena Vista, Florida – November 14th & November 18th, 2012
Hester's & Chester's Dino-Rama It turns out $2.50 per player midway games are just as unpopular at Disney World as they are at most other regional amusement parks. Admittedly it's not hard to see why this area is unpopular among Disney purists. Dino-Diner Primeval Whirl Primeval Whirl Primeval Whirl "This really extincts" har har har. Primeval Whirl The "plot" is basically Countdown to Extinction all over again. Primeval Whirl, certainly a stark contrast against Animal Kingdom's other roller coaster... TriceraTops Spin Chester & Hester's Dino-Rama is a subsection that's a little more cartoony than the rest of the more nostalgic DinoLand U.S.A. What child from the 50's, 60's, or 70's doesn't feel comforted by this? Chester & Hester's Dino-Treasures, supposedly the original converted gas station that started the whole DinoLand U.S.A. mythology. The Boneyard The Boneyard The Boneyard A living dinosaur Restaurantosaurus Restaurantosaurus... honestly, they don't even really try with the names, which I suppose makes it more accurate with real tourist traps. Cretaceous Trail Cretaceous Trail replica dino Cretaceous Trail replica dino Abstract dino-art DINOSAUR entrance DINOSAUR queue DINOSAUR queue DINOSAUR uses these EMVs (Enhanced Motion Vehicles), the same technology as on the Indiana Jones Adventure at Disneyland. Back at the Tree of Life.
