Statue of John Barry, known as the "Father of the U.S. Navy" I don't know if anyone knows what Mr. Barry is pointing at. Independence Square Independence Square info More historical information American Philosophical Society Hall Had to pay my respects, even though it wasn't quite the type of philosophy I earned my undergrad degree in. Doors to the Philosophical Society remain shut Founded by Benny Franklin in 1743. Old City Hall Independence Hall was where both the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution were written. The west wing of Independence Hall houses a small museum. Inside Independence Hall's west wing are surviving copies of the Declaration of Independence, the Articles of Confederation, and the U.S. Constitution. It's an easy to miss exhibit, but definitely worth seeking out while waiting for the tour. Declaration close-up Inkstand info Inkstand used to sign both the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution. Independence Hall clock tower Nifty clock on the side of the hall. This way to start the official tour. Queuing for the tour First a "preshow room", with some history given and rules of the tour explained. Next on the tour is the Supreme Court Room. I believe lawyers from both sides of the case had to share this table and each other's lawbooks. Judge's seat in the Supreme Court Room Supreme Court Room Rapt attention I believe defendants had to stand in this cage during the length of the trial. Moving on through the Center Hall that separates the Court Room from the Assembly Room on the first floor. Main entrance to the building, although the tour doesn't go through here until the end.

I’ve read all of this 9 pages photo journal. Some photos look familiar to me though I’ve never been there. I love the scattered ironic humor of your writing style. I wanted to visit the city, anyway, I’ll have chance. Thanks for sharing! I love you~
