Entering Jungle Jack's Landing. This park used to be known as Wyandot Lake and was even owned by the Six Flags Corporation for a number of years. The Columbus Zoo eventually bought and (I'm assuming) redesigned the park with more of a tropical theme. The new park debuted in 2008, along with the much larger Zoombezi Bay waterpark located next to it.  Compared to the rest of the Columbus Zoo, Jungle Jack's Landing is very flat and open. It's been around since at least the 1950's, but aside from the age of the roller coaster and a few other rides, the area itself looks like it was all built in the last ten years. You can buy a ride wristband for $8, or you can buy individual tickets à la carte for a dollar each.
